Joining new local self-government units to the project

Workshop held, on January 26, 2022. year, with representatives of local governments that have shown interest in joining the project (Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Nis, Veliko Gradiste, Sabac, Velika Plana). The team of the project unit informed them about the goals of the project as well as about the way of publishing investment locations on the platform of the Register of Investment Locations.

Visit to the Ćuprija

On Tuesday, November 9, 2021 project manager Mathias Rantanen and members of the project unit visited the municipality of Ćuprija. The working meeting was attended by the President of the Municipality, Jovica Antić, together with the team working on the project "Improving the Business Climate in Serbia".

Computer equipment division

The final phase of the project “Improving the business climate in Serbia”, which has been implemented since 2019, is underway, supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the Swedish Agency for Cartography, Cadastre and Land Registration – Lantmateriet and the Republic Geodetic Authority.

On that occasion, the representatives of 11 pilot units of local self-government were on November 9, 2021. attended the official distribution of computer equipment for each unit of local self-government. The division of equipment was held in the Ceremonial Hall of the Republic Geodetic Authority.

The general manager visited Pirot

On the occasion of the Agreement on Cooperation, within the Project "Improvement of the Business Climate in Serbia", one of the signatories of which is the City of Pirot, 04.11.2021., a meeting of the Swedish manager Mathias Rantanen with the implementation team was held in the Great Hall of the City of Pirot.

In a statement for the media, project manager Mathias Rantanen pointed out the good cooperation with the City of Pirot and added that he expects to raise the project to a higher level, which will be important for Pirot because it can attract more investors.

Online workshop held

NALED in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Republic Geodetic Authority, with the support of partners from Sweden "Lantmateriet" is implementing a project called "e-Space - Concept of spatial and urban planning reform" which plans to reform the production and distribution of planning documents and other legal regimes governing the use of space, including construction conditions.

Wednesday, November 3, 2021 year, a round table was held in the desire to involve as many stakeholders as possible in the development phase of the eSpace Document Concept in order to take part and give their contribution.

Development of the Register of Investment Locations presented at the IPMA Congress

The paper of the authors Marina Jovanović-Milenković and Sasa Rikanović entitled "Register of investment locations as a result of sustainable project management" was presented at the International Congress on Project Management "Responsible and flexible project management". The paper presents the results of the project "Improvement of the business environment in the Republic of Serbia", which is implemented by the Republic Geodetic Authority, together with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Swedish Agency for Cartography, Cadastre and Land Registration - Lantmäteriet.

The Congress was officially opened by the President of the Project Management Association of Serbia - IPMA (International Project Management Association) Serbia, proffesor Vladimir Obradović together with the acting Director of the National Academy of Public Administration, Dejan Miletić. The participants were then addressed by Joop Schefferlie, President of the International Association for Project Management, Biljana Vuksanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Jasmina Benmansur, Assistant Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government.

The congress was held in the premises of the National Academy of Public Administration from September 9 to 11, 2021. The congress was attended by over 150 participants in panels, round tables and workshops.

Dialogue with citizens

Another in a series of online workshops was held, organized by the municipality of Gävle, Kingdom of Sweden. The workshop was held on June 22, 2021, on the topic of Dialogue with Citizens. The moderator of the workshop is Annelie Hydén, Communication strategist Gävle municipality. The workshop was attended by representatives of local self-government units.
